Our IT System Administration Team aims to ensure a seamless operation of our technological infrastructure including the maintenance and optimisation of our digital ecosystem.
Position
We are looking for an IT System and Network Engineer, with a Cyber Security profile, to be responsible for managing and developing the Company IT infrastructure and supporting projects for customers with focus on network, system and users security.
The successful candidate will join the System Administration (SysAdmin) Team (comprised of 3 persons) and will mainly report to the SysAdmin Team Lead.
- Location: Sint-Stevens-Woluwe (Brussels Area)
- Start date: As of May 2024
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide IT system and network engineering expertise to company’s IT infrastructure and projects
- Support to external (non IT Infra) projects
- Install security patches and application updates
- Monitor servers’ access logs
- Perform servers security scan and Security assessments
- Respond to security incidents
- Research on new attack vectors and threat models
Develop:
- And apply security procedures and policies
- Technical solutions to address security vulnerabilities
Skills and Experience
- A degree in Computer Science (or relevant)
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience
- Excellent knowledge as a User and Administrator of Linux and Windows systems
- Excellent scripting skills (bash, python)
- Strength to cope with schedules and deadlines.
- Good written and spoken English
Knowledge of:
- Virtualisation (XenServer), Containers (Docker)
- Networking – IP, routing, switching, firewalls, wireless networking[LD4] [MS5]
Hands-on experience in IT security systems such as:
- Network security (e.g. Trafic and log monitoring, Firewalls, Intrusion detection & prevention system)
- VPN (e.g. OpenVPN, IPSec, WireGuard)
- PKI, Encryption, KMS, TLS/SSL
- AD, LDAP, Keycloak, Kerberos, SS
Considered as Assets
- Industry-recognised qualifications: CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, GSEC
- Software Development: Python, Django, Java, software development lifecycle.
